Tea Towel and Hot Mitt Set

Yet again I have to give the credit for this particular project to Nichole Spohr, a lady after my heart. Not only do I love paper crafting, but you might have noticed that other creative endeavors stir my soul, one of them being sewing.
While surfing through Nichol's blog I came across her wonderful spring kitchen linens. I immediately thought I  have to make some of those, and another multi project was born. These seemed to be the perfect Christmas gift, so, many sets later, Christmas was well under way. They were all well received.
Now, to compliment my Christmas linen set a new apron was in order, it turned out super cute, plus it was a lot of fun to wear during the holiday season. One of the things I like about these particular aprons is that they are made from cotton tea towels making them nice and absorbent. "Crate and Barrel" have fabulous towels made from good quality fabric, as well as being larger.

Sew much fun,
Susan

Happy New Year

First off I would like to say "Happy New Year"! Here's hoping for a good one.
Although I still have a few items to share from the previous year, my mind is actively planning and scheming the projects for this year. As new lists are being made (so I don't forget), supplies and products are on order, it should prove to be a fun and creative year.  I know this sounds insane but its how my mind works.
So, on to the old. Today I will be sharing two projects the first one being a tag, using the vintage looking Santa from Simon Says Stamp, a Swell Christmas. I have seen some really cute projects using this set and look forward to creating more projects in the future.
As for my second project, these wonderful mail boxes adorned our table along with homemade Christmas crackers (no photo sorry). Not only did these items add a festive charm, but being filled with chocolate and gifts made for a fun table. Papertry Ink and their "Make It  Market" Post and Parcel kit were behind these gems, along with the adorable Winter Time Fun stamp and die critters.

May happiness and peace find us all,
Susan
