Hi,
These incredible little Santa jackets that I am sharing with you today were a blast to make.

I was in need of a fun Christmas project to give away as a small gift to friends and acquaintances over the Christmas season. While looking for ideas I came across these wonderful Santa jackets at Julie Davison's blog. Fortunately she includes a wonderful youtube tutorial on how to make these fun filled treat holders. As she used a punch that I did not own, I came up with my own improvised method of making the jacket. Instead of using the tag punch as was shown in the video, I was able to use a single strip of paper for the jacket body as opposed to 3 pieces. Fortunately this worked out better in the long run as it used less paper and tape. Furthermore I managed to cut out 24 jackets from one 12"x12" sheet of paper.

I absolutely love them, they are going to make cute little treats for some lucky ladies.

Have a warm and cozy day,
Susan
